Delete your Khera Wasta account

This page explains how to delete an account of the Khera Wasta app (com.kherawasta.app), what is erased and what is kept. You can do it in the app, or by writing to us if you can no longer use the app.
Customers: in the app
- Open Khera Wasta and log in.
- Open the "پرۆفایل" (Profile) tab.
- Tap "سڕینەوەی هەژمار" (Delete account) and confirm.
What happens to a customer account
- At once: the account is closed and you are logged out. Your reviews no longer show your name: they show "کڕیارێک" (A customer).
- For 30 days you can change your mind: log in again and cancel the deletion.
- After 30 days we erase your name, mobile number, email address and password, your favorites, your saved places, your notifications and your one-time codes, and we remove the link between you and your app installations, searches, profile views and contact taps.
- What stays: your reviews, without your name, so that wastas' ratings stay fair; daily totals that contain no personal data; and encrypted backups, which are deleted within 12 months.
Wastas: in the app
- Open Khera Wasta and log in with your wasta account.
- Open the "پرۆفایل" (Profile) tab.
- Tap "داواکاریی سڕینەوەی هەژمار" (Request account deletion).
What happens to a wasta account
A wasta account belongs to a contract with us, so our admin reviews the request and contacts you. Once the request is approved, your profile is removed from the app and you can no longer log in. [Owner's decision: today the data of a closed wasta account stays in our database. Decide how long it is kept, for example for contract records, and when it is erased.]
Without the app
Write to support@kherawasta.com with the subject "Delete my account" and the mobile number of the account. To protect you, we confirm the request with that number first [how: for example a message from that number on WhatsApp], then delete the account within 30 days as described above.
